Are you a firefighter, police officer, medical provider, or any first responder? We're excited to announce a new golf league tailored for individuals of all skill levels starting on March 10, 2024, just for you. This competition aims to accumulate points for a shot at the season-ending tournament shootout, the opportunity to claim the title of the First Annual First Responder Hickory Hill Club Champion, secure a spot on the wall of fame, and win exciting prizes. Join us for a fantastic chance to socialize, network, enjoy a round of golf, and make lasting memories in the afternoon sun.

The inaugural tournament of the season kicks off on March 10th at 10:30 AM, with subsequent events scheduled every other Sunday at the same time, weather permitting. Secure your spot for a fee of $35.00 per player every other week, covering the cart and range balls. An additional $5.00 fee will contribute to the year-end tournament purse. Simply register, hit the course, accumulate points, and vie for a chance to compete in the final contest at the end of the year.

The Golf Tournament format is a Modified Stanford point system which is outlined below.

Double Eagle - 8 Points 

Eagle - 5 Points  

Birdie - 3 Points

Par - 2 Points

Bogey - 1 Point

Double Bogey - 0 Point

Total Points to qualify for the end of year golf tournament will be set by the number of players and handed out at the first tournament of the year on March 10th, 2024.

To ensure an enjoyable and stress-free experience on the course, we cap the maximum score for any hole at a Double Bogey. If you find yourself two over par on a hole, feel free to pick up, record a double bogey, and proceed to the next hole without worry. Let's keep the focus on fun and enjoyment throughout your round of golf.

Tee boxes in this league will adhere to the USGA Tee it Forward guidelines, providing players with an opportunity to choose tees based on their driving distance. If you hit a standard drive under 200 yards, opt for the front (Red) tees; between 200-225 yards, go for the Yellow tees; and if your shot exceeds 225 yards, the White tees are at your disposal. Blue tees will not be in play for the league presently. Prior to each tournament day, all participants will receive a briefing on the USGA rules, course regulations, and any special provisions applicable based on course conditions.
